About PaycheckCalc.io

PaycheckCalc.io was built with one goal: help you answer "what will actually land in my bank account?" in under a minute, without creating an account, downloading an app, or handing over your personal information.

Salary numbers you see in job offers and postings are gross figures — before federal tax, state tax, Social Security, Medicare, and any pre-tax deductions come out. That gap between gross and net pay catches a lot of people off guard, especially when negotiating a new job, comparing offers across states, or budgeting for the first time. We built this calculator to close that gap with a fast, transparent estimate.

The calculator uses approximate 2025–2026 federal tax brackets, standard deductions, FICA rates, and simplified state tax rates. It's designed for quick planning and comparison — not as a replacement for a tax professional, payroll department, or the IRS's own withholding calculator.

This site is run independently and supported by display advertising, which is why you may see ad placements alongside the calculator. Ads help keep the tool free and available to everyone with no paywall, no login, and no data resale.

Who runs this site

PaycheckCalc.io is built and maintained by Website Tools, an independent publisher of a small family of focused, free calculators. We build easy-to-use tools for quick, informative answers — no clutter, no accounts, and no unnecessary steps. PaycheckCalc.io is one of several tools we maintain, each built around the same idea: enter a few numbers, get a clear answer, and get back to what you were doing.
